How it works

The Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Client Council makes it easier for us to speak to you, our customers, and understand your opinions on a variety of topics.

The Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Client Council is open to all of their customers and when you join you will be able to chat with other members – ask questions, learn or just share. All the feedback you provide will be reported back anonymously. So you can chat in the confidence that comments will never be attributed to you.

The community is managed by our partners The Wisdom Council and Researchbods, independent consumer insight specialists. They take all the views and feedback shared and report to us, making recommendations on changes and innovations we should consider.

You can participate as much or as little as you like, as we explore topics ranging from how we can improve our communications to new product ideas. We just ask that you provide honest feedback so that we can work with you to improve what we do.

An online and in-person network of Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) clients, through which, members can provide feedback - your views and opinions - to help us develop more relevant products and services. Ultimately, it will allow us to better meet your needs, today and in the future.

The Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Client Council is managed by The Wisdom Council and STRAT7 Researchbods, a division of STRAT7 Limited, independent consumer insight and engagement specialists.

This initiative is open to Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) clients who hold individual accounts only. If you’re an Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) client, please speak to your Private Banker or Wealth Manager to request a VIP invitation to join.

You will be given regular opportunities to take part in activities that we think will be relevant to you. You are completely free to choose which of these you participate in.

Opportunities include attending interviews, roundtables, focus groups or filling out surveys and polls.

Please make sure to add support@clientcouncil.investec.com to your list of known or trusted contacts.

Members are free to leave whenever they wish. Every activity email includes an opportunity to unsubscribe from communications, and you can terminate your membership at any time via your member profile.

The collective insight that members share will be used by Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) to help shape decisions. Individual views will be kept anonymous and your personal details will never be passed to anyone outside of the Client Council team, which includes our colleagues at The Wisdom Council and ResearchBods who help us manage the Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Client Council.

We provide an estimated participation time for every activity so you can determine whether you have time to complete it at any stage. Generally, polls take around a minute, surveys will never take longer than 20 minutes and discussion rooms can be accessed at any time, depending on your interest.

Some activities are only accessible for a short time so we can gauge and respond to your views quickly. Other activities will be open for longer to allow you to consider your responses. If there is a set time the activities need to be completed by, we will include the closing date on the email invitations, and for longer-standing activities, we'll typically send a reminder email a few days before the closing date.

We always aim to send you surveys that are relevant to you. In some cases, there will be a number of different entry routes for engaging with the surveys, and if we meet the response quota for that specific route, we will terminate the survey. Respondents will be told within the first few questions if this is the case.

Other clients will simply know you according to your username, which we advise does not include personal details. This ensures that the Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Client Council remains an open forum through which members can freely express their views and opinions.
